Carl Douglas Langley was called home on Sunday morning May 4th, 2025. He was born on February 25, 1943, in Denver, CO to Ruth Henrietta Bohnstedt and Lloyd Emerson Langley.
Carl grew up in Denver. He attended South High School and graduated with a GED.
Carl's main interest in life was clocks. He received his first one when he was seven and kept it his whole life. Being self-taught, he was able to open clock shops in Englewood and then in Ault after moving there in 1983. He also had a love for antiques and could tell you a story about most of the things in his collection.
Carl married Margaret Ruth Spira on July 17, 1976 at St John's Lutheran Church in Denver. They had two sons, Gregg Allan Douglas and Carl David.
Carl was preceded in death by his parents, his sister, Francis Marjorie (Langley) Scott, his brother Richard Wayne Langley and a grandson, Christopher Michael Kirby.
Carl is survived by his wife Margaret, his sons Gregg (Brenda) Langley and David (Jewell) Langley. Grandsons Dalton Tommy Langley and Robert Osterhoudt. Granddaughters Jessica Osterhoudt and Elizabeth Langley. A Great Granddaughter Allison Langley and Great Grandsons Cameron and Keelan Osterhoudt.
A service to remember Carl's life and celebrate his passing into Heaven will be held at Trinity Lutheran Church located at 3000 35th Avenue in Greeley at 1 pm, Monday, May 12th. Reception will follow at the church.
