Obituary for Brandon Michael Host - It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Brandon Michael Host, who left us far too soon on February 12, 2026.

Born on January 24, 1992, in Minneapolis, Minnesota, Brandon touched the lives of everyone around him with his gentle spirit and unwavering kindness. Brandon graduated from Westonka High School in 2010, where he made a name for himself not only as a dedicated student but also as an accomplished athlete. He proudly set the scoring record with 1015 points in varsity basketball and excelled in varsity football, showcasing his dedication and love for sports. After high school, he pursued further education in Communication Studies at Concordia College and Utah Tech University. Throughout his professional journey, Brandon was known for his reliability and caring approach in every role he undertook. He served as the Assistant Operations Manager at Lifetime Fitness, was a Freight Flow Lead at Dick’s Sporting Goods, and also worked as an Apprentice Carpenter at Host Construction. Brandon was a true sports enthusiast and also loved spending time outdoors, often hiking to capture nature's beauty through his photography. His love for life and adventure embodied the essence of his gentle, loyal, and considerate personality that endeared him to family and friends.

Brandon is survived by his loving father, Michael Host, mother, Janet Host, and brother, Collin Host. He also leaves behind cherished memories with his loving grandfathers, Paul Host and John Mortison as well as numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and extended family and friends. 

A Celebration of Life for Brandon will be held on Saturday April 25, from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, at the Gale Wood Pavilion, located at 7210 County Rd 110 W, Minnetrista, MN 55364. Friends and family are encouraged to come share stories and celebrate the wonderful life he lived. Brandon Michael Host, you will be dearly missed and forever remembered for the light you brought into our lives. Thank you for being you.
