Blake Everett Copple died, August 11, 2023 outdoors in front of Rent A Center on Gus Thomason Road at 4 am in Dallas Texas. The cause of death was an accident. Blake was 30 years old. A memorial service is being held to celebrate his life. It will be Tuesday, October 3, 2023, at the Estates at Shiloh apartments at 10725 Shiloh Road Apt 1326, Dallas Texas 75228. There will be a balloon release in front of Rent A Center in Casa View neighborhood at 5 pm. Then back to the apartment at 6 pm for a potluck dinner, so bring a dish, drink or dessert if you can.. At 7 pm, Pastor Abe, with Living Waters Church, will be coming over to perform a memorial service for Blake. At 9 pm, we will do some healing art therapy, because Blake was very creative. So, come for one or all of the events. If you can't make it in person, you can download the Google Meet app from PlayStore and type in code kkz-mena-dij. Blake is survived by his mother, Laurie Copple; grandparents, Jim and Roxanne Copple; Aunt, Emily Copple; 2 uncles, Josh and James Copple; Second Cousins, Melanie Carlisle and Allison Dever Page. Blake was born on December 03, 1992 at Medical City Hospital in Ft Worth, Texas to parents, Laurie Ann Copple, and Jason Lee Ritter. Blake's father preceded him in death. When he was a child he liked to sing in the car and could imitate a TRex perfectly. His favorite movie was Jurassic Park, and he had a collection of dinosaurs. In school, Blake always made friends easily and was very intelligent. He was very creative and made YouTube videos, game characters, perfect Dragon Ball Z characters and he liked to paint with markers. Blake was a true artist and enjoyed computer and video games. Blake enjoyed Sci-Phi movies, video games, computer games and was interested in technology and animation. He always had a Star Wars T-shirt on. In Highschool he took drum lessons and performed in front of an audience twice at the School of Rock in Dallas, Texas. Blake attended Mesquite High School and received his GED from Richland College in 2013. Blake lived the last 12 years of his life in Casa View neighborhood in Dallas Texas. He has many friends who are grieving the loss of him, as well as, his mother, Laurie Copple. "It's just not the same without Blake here." Blake attended Dallas First Assembly of God church growing up and believed in God. And because "someone we know is in Heaven, there's a little bit of Heaven in our hearts and home."
