Beth Royer - VanSkiver passed away in her beloved home on January 30, 2025.

Born to Kenneth and Eunice Royer of Rotterdam, Beth graduated Mohonasen High School in 1971.

She worked for Mack Trucks and Encore. She was a daycare provider and is most known for her time at Glebe Street Elementary School as a recess monitor. She also enjoyed working for Hallmark and babysitting her grandkids.

Beth had a deep love for art, gardening, traveling, and spending time with her dogs and four grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Ronald VanSkiver of Johnstown and her children: Scott Royer of Kingston; Terra Sarnacki (Kratz) and husband Chad with children Shepard and Cadence of Ft.Worth ; Eric VanSkiver and his wife Jessica with children Isley and Hudson of Niskayuna; and Brittany VanSkiver and her partner Dizzy of New Orleans. She is also survived by her brother, Ken Royer of Phoenix and his children Taylor Royer with daughter Hollie, and Connor Royer with son Carson.

Her family and friends will miss her dearly and will carry her love and laughter with them forever.

A celebration of life for Beth will be held at a later date, which will be announced.

Beth's care has been entrusted to Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 51 Fremont Street, Gloversville.
