Arnold Wayne Banghart, 82, of Greeley passed away January 11, 2025 under the care of Banner Hospice at NCMC.  He was born January 30, 1942 in Greeley to Herman and Alma (Wilhelm) Banghart.

In 1960, Arnie graduated from Greeley Central High School.  On June 19, 1965, he married Linda Lee Neff at her parents' home in Eaton.

He owned and operated D&D Salvage in Greeley for many years before joining the team at Pelican Lakes golf course as a mechanic and machinist.

Arnie enjoyed tinkering with old cars, fishing and golfing.  He was very creative with his hands and tried helping anyone with car repairs.

Survivors include his wife, Linda, sons; Scott Banghart and Kevin (Jeanne) Banghart, his sister, Miranda Deutcher and two sister-in-laws; Caren Forsythe and Artist Banghart as well as nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Fred.

A visitation and open house will take place from 12-2 pm Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Adamson. Interment 2:30 p.m. Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
