Mrs. Anna Leah Drew, age 67, of Amsterdam, passed away, July 2, 2025 at the Albany Medical Center after a long illness.She was born May 4, 1958 in Elmira, New York, and she was the daughter of the late Michael and Barbara Christie Holmes. Anna was a graduate of the Elmira Free Academy in Elmira and after she attended Elmira College. Anna lived most of her live in Elmira until moving with her family to Amsterdam in 1998 where she has since lived.Anna was employed by the Windstreamer Corporation as a Technician for a number of years, until retiring due to ill health.She enjoyed Cooking especially for her family and enjoyed going fishing with her husband Donnie.On January 1, 1978, Anna married Donnie Drew. Besides her husband she is also survived by her two sons, Justin Michael Drew of Amsterdam and Donnie Drew Jr. of Bangor Maine, a daughter, Kristy Seales of Amsterdam, two granddaughters, Jinae Seales and Tatianna Drew, and several brothers, nieces, nephews and cousins.It was the request of Anna that there be no funeral service or calling hours.Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Betz, Rossi, Bellinger & Stewart Family Funeral Home, 171 Guy Park Avenue, Amsterdam, NY 12010.Online condolences may be made at www.brbsfuneral.com
