Amber "Kaye" Christensen Ferguson, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully in Colorado Springs, Colorado, on October 16, 2024, at the age of 82. Born in Lehi Utah, Kaye dedicated her life to her family and her work as a budget analyst for the U.S. Government, where she was known for her keen analytical skills and unwavering dedication.
Kaye married the love of her life, LaVar "Bill" Ferguson, on June 7, 1975. Together, they built a warm and loving home filled with laughter, kindness, and the joy of family. Kaye was a passionate gardener, finding solace and satisfaction in nurturing her plants and sharing the beauty of her garden with loved ones.
Kaye is survived by her cherished daughter, Bonnie Davis, and her two sons, Blaine Hales (wife Denise) and Myron Hales (wife Monica). She leaves behind a legacy of love in her ten grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild, all of whom will carry her spirit in their hearts.
A devoted member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Kaye's faith was a guiding force in her life, influencing her kindness and compassion towards others.
Kaye's funeral service will be held on November 4, 2024, at 12:00 PM at 1020 E Fillmore St, Colorado Springs, CO 80907. Family is invited to gather to celebrate her life and share in the memories she created. In honor of her love for flowers, attendees are welcome to send floral tributes to the service.
Kaye will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, joy, and nurturing will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew her.
