Sharon B. Tubbs

Sharon B. Tubbs, age 77, passed from this life peacefully on October 16, 2025, with her loving family by her side.  Sharon was born on March 11, 1948, in Sarasota, Florida, to her parents, the late Edward D. and Margaret R. Ball.  Sharon worked as a dental assistant for a number of years in LaBelle, Florida, as well as an assistant librarian at the Barron Library in LaBelle, Florida.  Sharon absolutely “loved” fishing.  She also enjoyed reading her Bible, playing Scrabble with her family, painting, sewing, playing tennis, playing golf, doing puzzles, church potlucks, and mostly spending time with her family.  Sharon was a treasured member of the Lehigh Acres church of Christ in Lehigh Acres, Florida. 

Sharon is survived by her husband, John W. Tubbs of North Fort Myers, Florida; her sister Allison (Mike) McNaughton; her daughter Kimberly (Larry) Westberry, of Lehigh Acres, Florida, her son John E. (Angela) Tubbs of Lehigh Acres, Florida, and her daughter Jacqueline (Jason) McLaney of Lehigh Acres, Florida; granddaughters, Taryn Tubbs of Fort Myers, Florida, and Samantha Westberry of Lehigh Acres, Florida; grandsons, Trey Westberry of Wyoming, Michigan, Trevor Tubbs of Lehigh Acres, Florida, Bryce (Nicole) Hillman of Gainesville, Florida, Colby Hillman of Muse, Florida, and Colt Hillman of Lehigh Acres, Florida; many nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Bain Ball.  A memorial service is scheduled for Monday, October 20, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., at the First Baptist Church, 330 North Main Street, LaBelle, Florida 33935, with long-time family friend, Preston Long, officiating.
