Robert Le Roy Garrett

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing of Robert Le Roy Garrett, who unexpectedly left this world on May 24, 2024, at the age of 58. Born in Mountain View, California to Wade Garrett and the late Susan Costa, Rob lead of live marked by devotion to his family, faith, community, and career.
Rob leaves behind his wife, Edna Garrett. He was the proud father to his cherished children, Devin, Kayla, Valentina, Salem, and Peter, and grandfather to Damian, Gwen, and Charlotte. His memory will be remembered by his brothers, David and his spouse Joanie, and Paul.
Rob graduated from Monte Vista High School, and he continued to broaden his knowledge at De Anza College both in Cupertino, California. He excelled in the field of sales by connecting with people across diverse sectors such as banking, automotive, and technology. At the time of his passing, he was the Director of Sales and Business Development for the Americas and EMEA at Teikoku Taping Systems, where he was regarded as both a colleague and devoted friend.
Rob had a passion for music and community service. He loved 80’s New Wave music and served his community as an Assistant CubMaster and was an enthusiastic volunteer in a variety of local organizations. However, his true love of music was intertwined with his faith. He shared his gift of song and love of God as a cantor and a member of church choirs giving glory to Him.
A funeral mass was held on June 28, 2924, at Saint Maria Goretti Catholic Church in Scottsdale, Arizona. The family invites you to the internment blessing which will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, July 12, 2024 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery at 22555 Cristo Rey, Los Altos, California. A gathering of family and friends will take place directly after the blessing at the Hampton Inn-Silicon Valley in Sunnyvale California.
Donations can be made to Catholic Charities in his honor. May Rob rest in eternal peace, and may perpetual light shine upon him.
