Pedro E. Lopez, 91 yrs old. Passed away peacefully in his home in North Port, Fl on August 17, 2024 at 12:30 am. He was born on May 19,1933 in Mayaguez, PR to Martin Lopez and Hemeregilda Montes. He is preceded by his wife Monserrate Lopez, he is survived by his Children, Ivette Lopez, Pedro E. Lopez Jr.( Lilliam Lopez) and Nancy Bailon (Robert Moroni). His Grand Children, Priscilla Bailon, Kathleene Bailon, Victoria Sanadi and Paul Hernandez (Kristy Hernandez). His great grandchildren, Caroline Frazier, Ariel Bailon-Sorbo, Niv Hernandez & Jude Hernandez. 

He served the United States Armed forces during the Korean war. He was devout Catholic, who lead a weekly Rosary group. He was a man of great faith and a humble servant of God. He was ordained as a deacon on 05/19/1984 and served  at St. Maximillian Church in Port Charlotte Fl, Sacred Heart Church in Punta Gorda, St John's Church & St Cecilia Church in Hialeah, Fl.  

Pedro was a great Father, grandfather and to many a great friend, confidant and a trusted pillar of the community. 

He has left a tremendous void in our hearts and will be greatly missed.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you make a donation to Tidewell Hospice on his behalf.

10:00 am Funeral Mass, San Pedro Catholic Church, North Port, Fl

Burial would immediately follow, Venice Memorial Gardens, Venice, Fl
