Mary Catherine Parsons

                          Mary Catherine (Kay) (LaViolette) Parsons

Born August 8th 1948 to parents Robert and Doris LaViolette in Kenosha Wisconsin passed away on May 8th 2025 in Moriarty, Nm surrounded by family. Mary Kay was a mom, grandma and great grandma, as well as a active volunteer and lover of country western dancing and being with friends and family.  Mary Kay passed at 76 years old peacefully at home. Mary Kay fought breast cancer,  skin cancer,  heart disease and finally lost her fight with dementia/ azlhemiers.  She was a strong resilient woman and fighter. Mary Kay was a long time volunteer with Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta,  a Respite Volunteer for  hospice patients, worked a full time job at Target. In her spare time she loved music, dancing, baking and being with friends and family.  Mary Kay is survived by her children Barbara Gene Turnbaugh and Milton Reed Cross, Grandchildren James Turnbaugh, Troy Turnbaugh II and Makayla Cross Great grandchildren  Riley Turnbaugh, Troy Turnbaugh III, Javen Turnbaugh and Devon Trost.
