**Obituary for Loshel "Losh" Marshall Voigt** Loshel "Losh" Marshall Voigt, born on July 13, 1968, in Santa Barbara, Ca left this world on September 23, 2025. This loving son is survived by his devoted mother, Marlene; his beloved wife, Jennifer; and his six cherished children, Justin, Lizzy, Loshel Gilbert, Joshua, and Jorge. Losh was a dedicated family man whose kindness and generosity touched the lives of countless individuals. God led Losh and Jen as foster parents for 13 years. They were blessed to help some re-unify with parents...others they adopted. Throughout his life, Losh showcased a remarkable work ethic and an admirable drive for success. In his younger years, he co-owned Smitty's Towing, where he honed his skills in heavy-duty towing and gained invaluable experience in business. He later embraced the role of Crane Operator Assistant with The Operating Engineers, cultivating friendships at several companies throughout his career. Upon relocating to Florida, he achieved his Home Inspector's license, and his expertise and reliability flourished through his successful handyman business, aiding many within the community with his creative solutions and knowledgeable advice. Losh always strived for excellence, earning every license and certification necessary in his diverse career path. Beyond his professional accomplishments, Losh was passionate about life. He loved worshipping, raising his children, skiing, bike riding, hunting, fishing, and sharing stories that would leave a mark on those who listened. His spiritual faith was a guiding light, encapsulated in his favorite quote: "The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want." A memorial service to celebrate Losh's life will be held at Rock Calvary Chapel, located at 2230 Hariet St, Port Charlotte, FL, on Saturday, October 11th, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to Samaritan's Purse, honoring Losh's compassionate spirit. Also 10/25/25 at 10:00 am at Emanuel Lutheran Church Santa Barbara.. As we mourn the loss of a beloved husband, father, and friend, we also celebrate a life well-lived, enriched with love, laughter, and lasting memories. Losh will be sorely missed but will continue to inspire all those who had the privilege to know him.
