Janet Louise Hammons was born in Exeter California on July 2nd, 1946 and passed away on October 6th 2025 in Tecumseh OK at the age of 79. Proceeded in death by her parents Stella and Dow Lee Carpenter. Sisters Dolores Powell and Rita Carpenter. Brothers Don and Larry Carpenter. Husband Roy Coats and daughter Roena Hammons. Survived by Husband John Hammons, sisters Elaine Woody and Sherri Terry, son Christopher Hammons. Son and daughter in law Roy and Patricia Coats. Son and daughter in law Quincy and Annette Hammons and multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren.
She worked for over 20 years in accounting at Walmart. She enjoyed to travel and camp and see the foliage change during the fall in Talihina.
