Doris Ross

Doris Ross, 88, of Lomita, California, passed away on November 6, 2023. She was born on September 19, 1935, in Bronx, New York to Milton and Lottie Epstein. Doris was an artist who possessed a keen sense of fashion. Her impeccable appearance was a reflection of her artistic nature. She was known for her generosity and kindness towards others. If you were fortunate enough to know her, she would always show care and compassion. Doris had a knack for sharing interesting trivia and entertaining everyone with her funny stories. Her dedication to her family and friends was unwavering, and her absence will be deeply felt. Doris is survived by her loving daughter, Elizabeth McCarthy, and her son, Lawrence Alexander. She also leaves behind her cherished grandchildren, Steven Menduke, Andrea Brizendine and Ethan Alexander. In addition she is survived by her sister, Cynthia Hernly and her brother, Lester Epstein. Services will be held at Pacific Crest Cemetery in Redondo Beach, California on November 6, 2023 at 1:30pm Doris Ross will be remembered for her artistic talent, generosity, and loving nature. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her.
