Allen Schramek

He was born in Chicago, Ill., where he lived until he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force.

He served in the Air Force for 30 years. Allen was a Vietnam Veteran and retired with the rank of Chief Master Sergeant as a Areospace Control and Warning Systems Manager.

He served four remote tours of duty including Alaska, Greenland, Iceland and Vietnam.

After retiring he moved to Duluth where he worked for Arrowhead Vinyl and Sears Home Improvement.

Hobbies included golf and curling.

He was preceded in death by his parents Milton and Mae.

Survived by wife Karen of 54 years of marriage; daughters Mary (Andy) Verhel, Linda (Dave) Ruse; son Mark (Tammy) Schramek; seven grandchildren; five great- grandchildren; sister Caole McKibbin, and dear friend Richard Tinley.
